Every company big or small has a culture, something that defines the overall business beliefs of the staff as a whole. Here at Bridge of Knowledge we feel very strongly about changing the scope of online advertising. Everyone has been annoyed by SPAM at some point in time. We all have been blistered by annoying pop up ads on our favortie sites.

SPAM

Around here we like to think it stands for "super pathetic and malicious" advertising. Everyone knows what spam is, it can come in many forms, via e-mail, flashing banners, annoying pop-ups, creepy talking cartoons that pop up out of no where and pierce your ear drum......All forms are annoying and all forms are UNWANTED. In the industry of advertising we want to make a difference. We don't want to shun people away from products and resources that may be useful to them, we want to incorporate our ads in a way that is completely beneficial to the reader. We want to make the information available to you in the simplest and easiest form and if it helps you, fantastic and if you do not wish to see the advertisment it won't jump off the page and follow your mouse around until you click on it. We pride ourselves on being honest and will do our best to make our clients succeed in the ever growing "used car sales lot" the Internet has become.

Why read an ad about Viagra when your researching information about purchasing an umbrella? Doesn't make sense!! Imagine if your local Mall was more like the Internet. Imagine going into K&B Toys to shop for your little one and being harassed by a representative from Victoria's Secret? Or going to the gym and being harassed by someone from McDonalds and Burger King? We feel that we can make a difference (even if it is a small one) in the way Internet advertising business is done. Why can't we?

Time for Change

Our purpose is to make the Internet less of a money hungry machine and more of a benefit to the information seekers! If we have to compromise being millionaires to accomplish this, well we are willing to do that (there is always the lottery and casinos!!). It's frustrating to think that the current state of the Internet consists of Porn SPAM, Credit scams, illegal operations, and a way for someone to commit identity fraud! Advertising can and should be done in a way that offers a useful and trusted resource on a site that directly relates to the advertiser. For example, we aim to find pages with great information about baseball and "bridge" (link it to) a resourceful site that offers baseball products, baseball lessons, or even more baseball information!
